Reinforced Roof?

Hi, does anyone know if the roof on a 264DBH is reinforced to walk on?

I need to get up there to do some cleaning and maintenance and am wondering if it’s designed strong enough to walk on.

Thanks

I believe it's a 3/8" walkable roof.

I have no problem on my 274DBH.

Our 26dbh was a fully walkable roof.

Excellent. Thanks. I’m not looking forward to walking around up there to clean and protect but it has to be done.

Just watch for the roof vents / caps.. Great at tripping you up. Also work away from any water that roof becomes ice when wet!

I wouldn't. Use an all purpose cleaner and a soft deck brush and hose it off. Then when I had to remove debris, what I did was lay on the actual camper roof and sort of crwl my upper body out onto that slide out. I was fearful of placing 190# directly on the slide and tweaking it. Maybe I am more fearful than is warranted.... but I plan to generally stay off or stay as light as I can on it while doing the Aerospace 303 application this fall.

Great advice - thanks!

As an aircraft mechanic, I've walked a few wings in my day but never felt comfortable putting the weight on it. I saw a YT video of a guy installing a slide topper and was surprised how he was walking all over it.

I did. And I'm a donut or three over 300#s. Feels like the same decking and weight wise it's no different if I'm on top of the slide or inside the slide.

If I'm causing harm to my rig, someone please let me know.

When the manufacturer installs the roof there may be 3 or 4 guys on your roof. As for the slick surface I have a pair of swimming shoes that work very well. https://www.amazon.com/water-shoes/b...8&node=3421521
