Replacing carpet in slide out

Sooooo... To make a long story short, I wanted to replace the carpet with something else in my slide out besides carpet. I didn't plan on doing it soon, but my Black lab forced my hand. What have you guys found that works, if anything. I don't want to put more carpet, Thanks in advance.

Several people have used vinyl laminate flooring and it's turned out well.

There's a couple of threads where people got creative about hiding the leading edge of it so it didn't cause an eyesore or a gap.

I couldn't find any threads, I looked the last couple of days to see pictures and ideas that others have used. I figured people had done it.
