I put a safe in the wardrobe slide for the laptop and other assorted things that I do not want to have to take every time I leave the RV. It is fire rated. We take a laptop with us for two reasons, sometimes the DW works from the road when we travel and I have movies on the laptop so I do not have to bring a bunch of DVDs.

I have yet to take pics of the install. Let's see if the link works!

Call me silly, but things like I never carry anything to be locked up and "Never use them" don't seem to answer the question.

My previous two Wildcats had a safe as standard equipment. The first one had a safe in the under bed storage compartment and our second Wildcat had one on the floor of the bedroom closet. I bought and installed one in the Silverback for our passports but Iím not going to say where it is located...it's a secret.

There are some very nice small size safes that work great in RVs.
You can find them at sporting goods stores/web sites under "pistol safes."

This one by Sentry is great for money and passports.

I don't have a trailer but I did mount one in my motorhome. I bolted it to the metal framework for one of the dinette seats.

Got it at Staples for $99. It's not waterproof or fireproof rated, but it does have a 1 hour dirtbag proof rating. If someone wants in bad enough they'll get into anything, but I'm a retired LEO and I don't go anywhere without a pistol. If we're visiting someplace where I can't carry it then I have a secure location to store it in the motorhome while we're away. It's also a good spot for storing spare cash, passports and things like that when we're on the road.
