Put some water in your water tank and run the water with the shurflow pump. You may have some antifreeze left in your filter. Drain the filter by hand and replace the filter bowl without the cartridge. . After all the water is flushed out refill the tank and add a bit of javex in the tank. Run the taps untill the tank is empty.. This should take care of the problem. You put aprx 4 ounce of javex to a full tank of water. The cartridge should be replaced only after you have rinced totally the system with a new one.
