satellite hook ups

Hello all,

Just bought a 2010 Cherokee 39H park model and am having problems with satellite feed in the trailer. Had receiver and tv working outside of trailer but when I connect to coax port on outside of trailer and connect tv and receiver inside trailer I have no signal. Confused on how to make connections in trailer. Any help would be great. Thanks!

A satellite needs a straight shot or home run of the cable within the RV. Not sure how a park model is wired by in RV with only one coax cable installed the satellite will not work properly through the booster for the tv antenna. Of course you could reuse the coax and make it into a home run by removing it from the booster. But like I said not really sure in a park model. It may be easier to just run a new coax cable to where you need it.
