Someone stole my hubs

Some nice person decided to help themselves to the center
covers that hold the bearing grease inside the hubs on both
back tires to my Cherokee Grey Wolf. Had to have dealer e-mail
Lippert for replacement info. Only thing is all of us are 2 weeks out
as far as going camping is concerned. I do not want to move
the camper till I have replacements. Afraid grease will fly
everywhere.
DH and I have spent last couple of weeks purchacing
a hitch for the new tow vehicle. Got it mounted, wiring connected
properly, (what a pain in the neck) added fuses for turn signals ect...
Went out today to test the connections, fuse blown in truck for
turn signals. Replaced it. After all this, I still can't take it anywhere.
Then I notice that the little oval sticker by the door that states Forest
River (u know the one with a pretty background by the entry door)
Either fell off during the winter or someone tore it off.

We are going camping one way or the other!

Nina

Sorry to hear about the hubs. People will steal anything these days. As far as the decal goes, it probably fell off. The one on mine was about to fall off so I
finished peeling it off and it is laying in the bottom of a storage basket inside the trailer.

NINA, If you are talking about the small silver caps in the center of the wheels they are called grease caps, they should not be hard to get, however if you need them right a way I have two of them and I would be glad to send them to you. The ones I have are of a 10" brakes, the manufacture is " tekonsha part # 5651" They fit all 10" brake system. If you would like to have them please PM me with your address and I will send them right away and they are free to you and the shipping is on me.

That's a nice offer Rockwood. I've used the old "Would you like to come to my place to see my grease caps" line before and I know that it is a sure winner, but Nina's married though, in case you didn't know.

Just looking out for you Nina.

Sorry to hear about the trouble though.

That's a good one, but I have been married to my wife for 31 years as a matter of fact, I gave her a surpprise sweet 16th Birth Day Party and we were togather 8 years before I had the ring put in my nose. It's ok, It's good that people look out for each other, that's almost a thing of the past. As far as the grease cap go's," my wheels can go all day, It dosen't take all day for my wheels to go ". This is one reason I am here on this forum, people helping people.

Actually, aside from having a little laugh, I meant what I said about the offer. Offering to send Nina your spares was really nice and you're right, it is exactly what makes this forum valuable. People helping people.

OK all join in..... "are the luckiest people in the worrrrllldddd."
