Stove issues

I have an 18 23dbh, I'm having a issue with the oven. I'm able to lite the pilot and turn it on. However after about 5 minutes the pilot goes out. If I raise the temp up it sometimes re lights the pilot as the burner stayes lit. Just after this happens everything turns off. I'm unable to relight the pilot for about 10 minutes. And usually it will only stay lit as long as I'm holding the lighter there. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm going assume you have the sunburn stove oven over the years there have been issues with the ovens staying lit. Most require replacing the thermo couple pilot lite assembly. If your rig is still under warranty have the dealer replace it.

Had that issue early on and the dealer replaced the pilot jet assy. No problems since other than needing 3 hands to get it lit

Even though you said the warranty is up, just be aware that your oven has a two year warranty. Not just the one year like the RV.

It might be worth your time to contact Suburban and see what they'll do.

Pilot will only stay lit as long as thermo couple is generating voltage back to gas valve. Your problem sounds like faulty / old thermo couple
They do wear out
