Stupid Couch Question Grey Wolf 26DBH

Good afternoon,
After putting our couch back into the sitting position, we noticed that there is a 5-6 inch void or gap between the back of the couch and the slide wall. Are we doing something wrong or is this normal? Neither of us remember that space being there. I can see down into the storage compartment.

Thanks,

I would say that's normal. It's the same way in our 29TE

If yours is anything like mine, the HAB sleeper sofa (love seat size) with drawer. Lift the seat cushion to about a 25 degree angle or so, push the whole works toward the wall ( love seat slides!) and set the cushion back down. That locks it in place. You can do a YouTube search on google for the HAB sofa video and see it done. If the whole unit moves fore and aft when you lift the cushion , that's likely what your're looking at

That hap is supposed to be there. It's quick access to the slide storage compartment.

Stupid Couch Question Grey Wolf 26DBH

So I went out to the trailer with a flash light and took another look. If it does go back flush, I can't figure it out. My DW CamperJo said it came flush against the shelf but I don't see how. Looks like a future mod. Some type of netting and a make shift laundry shoot for dirty socks. -- CamperDadClick image for larger version

Exactly how it is on my 29BH...so I would say it doesn't go flush.
