Subwoffer standard item in 2009 Cherokee 30L?
Our new 2009 Cherokee 30L was delivered yesterday and we thought that a subwoffer is a standard item, does anyone know if this is a fact?

Does it have a surround system? if it does it may be hidden mine is in a cabinet under where the tv is it has a metal screen front on it

Yes, we have surround sound, but we don't have a screen in any cabinet. I guess I just thought that since it came with surround sound that it would have a subwoofer.

Not the same year or brand but mine is hid behind a paneled wall.
No screen just hid real good.

Well, we will look again and really hope to find it! If it ends up that we don't have one, how do I find out that if one should of been installed?

Mine is in the ceiling with a Concertone emblem in the middle of the cover. I believe all Cherokees have surround with a sub as standard.

I just received my 39BS and had the same sub question. I didn't locate mine anywhere either. As gutless as this concert tone sounds, I don't think it has one.

What good is surround sound with out a sub woofer. If you don't have one you got cheated. A 5.1 system consist of 5 different speakers of the same size and a sub woofer in most cases, there are exceptions some times the center speaker may be a different size.

I have the 27L and the sub is in the ceiling just as you come in the door

I have a 39BS and I know mine sure as heck doesn't have a woofer. Atleast it doesn't sound like it at all....lol

My concertone Zx 600 has 5 speakers in the ceiling of the living room area, and 2 in the ceiling of the bedroom, and 2 outdoors in the front. The sub is directly below the concertone unit behind a double door cabinet, with one side screwed shut. I removed the screw, and there was the sub. Randy

We have a 2008 30L and the subwoofer is in the ceiling. The Concertone in still junk. Does your 2009 30L have low point drains on it?

I am pretty sure that we have low point drains on our 09 30L. They are behind the driver side tires in front of the fresh tank. We will look this weekend to make sure.
Oh, and the company does not install subwoofers on the 2009 models. But at least we don't have any problems with our Concertone.
