Sunroof glass in slide

Can anyone provide some info on the construction of the sunroof in the slide of a 2013 Cherokee 245. I retracted the slide into the unit and was checking for water and noticed the entire glass of the sunroof is laying loose on the roof of the slide.
Thanks

Ya I'm now interested in this too as I found water leaking through my sunroof and when I applied a little pressure to the window the whole pane popped out. Not good

I dealt with this a while back. Trying to recollect... I believe it was a double face tape that just stuck it down. Sikaflex 221 I believe is a windshield caulk you could use if the glass could be pulled, then caulk the surface and press and set. It was an emergency job for sales next door. We just caulked around the edge and over the top edge a little and put a slide out cover on it. Windshield shop prolly the best bet. Make sure the caulk sets good before the slide wipers hit it. Sikaflex takes a day.

Is this Sikaflex a product I would find at an RV store or an auto parts store? Thanks for the feedback

I think the windshield sika is different from the 221, the 221 being standard sealant...not sure. The windshield urethane mentioned would be good between the glass and the old seal but may result in the same failure. Reason?...flex in the roof maybe. Its going to be trial and error. Not sure how the 221 hooks with the rubber roof but it handles movement well.

Edit: hardware store, lumber yard, possibly rv to obtain
