Tire question on tow vehicle

Quick question have a 2015 274DBH which we all know weighs like an elephant. My tires are newer on my Sequoia but recently got a nail in my rear and had it patched. Does the patch effect the towing capability when the tire takes on the load of the trailer?

I'd say no or extremely little. My landscape trailers get plugged all the time. I haul heavy equipment on them and I have only had one blowout in 15 years. I only replace the tires when they wear out. Then I usually look inside them to laugh at all the plugs in them.
