Trailer movements

2016 grey wolf 26dbh having issues with rocking after setup . My kids rolling over in the bunks are like a small earthquake ! anyone else have this issue ? I bought the X-chocks but no help . The stabilizer jacks look cheap and flimsy. This is keeping me up at night ! Any suggestions ?

Had the Lippert JT Strongarm stabilizers installed at the rally on our 5th wheel. They eliminated just about all movement. Maybe someone can comment on the JT's on a travel trailer.

Apparently they work quite well on a TT. Not ours, mind you - still doing the CBA of eliminating that little bit of wiggle after the X-Chocks are in.

And btw... welcome to the forum!

I have the same TT. In addition to the X-chocks I use these on the slide:

Stabilizer jacks in front of the axles will finish the job of eliminating the shake.

Our Windjammer used to really rock when someone is walking around. I also ended up getting a pair of x-chocks and these cheap Camco Stack Jacks:
Camco Stack Jacks - Walmart.com
One pair goes between rear stabilizers and rear tires and the other pair goes four feet forward of front tires. I just snug them up to the frame. I have to stack up (4) 2" x 8" x 8" boards for these jacks to reach the frame. Rocking has really been drastically reduced, but not fully eliminated.

Not an expert on putting jack on the slide outs, but been told it a no no...

I DW dislikes movement immensely. Other than the X-Chocks and snugging my stabilizers, I have 2 Valterra stabilizers; one goes under the rear bumper and one under the frame behind the steps. Even with my LARGE (6'2" & 280+ lbs) son, the movement is fairly negligible. Just the wife and myself, it's pretty darn solid.

BTW, the $35 price on Amazon right now for the Valterras is a great price. I paid in the mid-40's for mine, if not more.
