Water holding tank

Ive got a 26ft 2012 Cherokee that I bought new. Ive had it on a permanent site since the day I bought it. I recently found the first and only problem with it. I found that my water holding tank is filling with water and then leaking. This is weird because I do not and have never had a hose anywhere near the fill up spot for this tank. Ive never needed to fill up this tank and found it weird that its been filling. I have since removed the cap from the drain line so it will not hold water but need to figure out why this tank if filling.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening?

The only thing that I can think of that may have anything to do with this is the water line valves located under the bed that we close at the end of the season and open at the beginning of the season.
Thanks

There is a valve in your water pump that is supposed to close when you use the city water connection. If it is stuck open it will fill your FW holding tank. Run your pump without the city hook-up a couple of times, sometimes that will fix it. If not your will either have to by a valve replacement kit or a new pump.
