Water hose storage
My wife and I just bought our first travel trailer (Grey Wolf 26dbh) and took it out for the first time this weekend. Curious if anyone had a good recommendation on how to store the main fresh water hose under the trailer so that it's organized but not dripping water in the storage area. I have it shoved in a big trash bag and am not thrilled with my resolution.

Plastic storage bins with lids from walmart. We have one for the fresh water hose, one for the utility water hose, and one large one for the sewer hoses.

I drain mine as much as I can roll it up and then thread the ends together and then use one of these to hold it.

I have been using these for about the last 8 - 9 years. Each one of these doughnut shaped holders will take a standard length water hose although a larger "Cord Pro" is also available.

I may not be correct, but I don't think you should connect the hose ends together as this could promote mold, would it not? I always try to roll it up letting as much water run out as possible and ut it in a storage container.

I coil my down into a 5 gal bucket and put the water filters in the middle of the coil.

Not really - what it does do is keep contaminants out of your water hose.
When we hook up, even if we have been unhooked for a day, we always do this: - Wipe off each end of the coach or pedestal with a Clorox wipe before connecting it to the
- Before we hook up to the coach, we will run some water through the hose for a few sec.

I connect the ends, then run it a bit once I am connected to the hydrant, before I connect it to my filter. I don't drink the water through the sytsem anyway, only wash with it, we drink or cook with bottled water.

Ditto the storage container, I keep freshwater gear in one, sewer in another, has worked well. I live in a dry climate so things seem to dry out fine in the containers

I second this! Plastic "locking" storage bins. I purchased some transparent blue for water, Black for the black/gray tank supplies, red for electrical, etc. Makes its easy to grab the correct bin.

I drain as much water out of ours as I can, then coil the hose and screw the ends together. When I hook it up at a campsite, I hook to the faucet, run water through the hose, then hook up my filter, run a little more through the filter before hooking to the trailer.
I store our filter in a ziplock bag in the bottom drawer of our fridge.

We have a 26dbh.
Where I've worked the last couple of years, the guys that restock the soda machines tend to leave plastic crates behind. There's about 6" tall, and fit well in that storage area under the loveseat.
I drain and coil my FW hose, connect the ends, and store it in one of those.
My power cords go in a similar tray in the same location.
