Water Pump positioning

So in looking under the queen bed in my 2019 Wolf Pup 16BHS I see the water heater and the water pump. A few things caught my eye.

1. There appears to be a kink in the hose attached to the water pump, shown below:

Can I just unscrew the water pump from the floor, re-position it to relieve the kink and re-attach the pump to the floor in the new position? If so, should anything be done to fill the old holes?

2. There appears to be an electrical junction of sorts laying next to the hot water heater:

Should this be secured somewhere?

Thanks for the help.

Wow, looks like they kinda rushed through that area during the build process. I would definitely do both things that you stated. You could just pivot the pump on one of the screws so you only need to make one new hole. I am not sure the screws go all the way through the floor so you may not have to put anything in the old hole but you can put a spare screw back in the hole easy enough....

1. The water pump can be moved. They usually have 4 screws so pivoting the pump would require 3 new holes -- but no problem. Use the same screws you removed and (I'm sure) they won't be too long to reinsert in a different place. I would not worry about the old holes but it wouldn't hurt to squirt a little caulk in each one.
2. The water heater's control board is normally stuck to the side/top of the heater using the double-sided tape shown on its left surface.

Both things very common in the R/V industry and reported here many times.

Yes, simply reposition the pump to relieve the kink and use something better than the useless double sided tape the factory uses to attach the water heater control module to something close by. There have been reports of them lying on the floor and a water leak developed and ... well... you know what happens next.

In addition, make sure the kinked hose opens fully once repositioned. Sometimes that type of hose takes on a bit of a 'memory' and holds the kink even once repositioned. I've had a couple hoses I had to actually cut the kink out to eliminate it.

Sometimes you can just put a hose clamp over those stubborn kinks and tighten it down to keep the hose round.

Yes, correct.
I've also used several zip ties wrapped tightly next to each other to accomplish the same.

Looks like a 4:55 pm Friday build. I'd loosen the pump and reposition.
