Just noticed this grey tube poking out on the left side under the slide out. Is this missing a cap. Or is it a vent? Was dripping water this past weekend so I’m wondering where it goes. 2018 26DBH.

Perhaps, weird thing is it’s on the opposite side from kitchen and bathroom which is to say that’s a lot of hose length just for a fridge drain. But maybe so to have it drip on the hookups side of the trailer.

What is this and why

Following up from a previous post...I can't figure out what this line is. I have a 2018 Grey Wolf 26DBH. Just had it in our driveway with electric on, water connected (with a pressure regulator) and nothing else. Came home from work the next day and noticed the water slowly and steadily streaming from a grey tube on the left side under the rear of the slideout and near the wheels. Its not the fresh water drains, it is grey in color and matches the two drains from the sides of the slidouts. My questions are:

- Is it missing a fitting?
- Why would it be streaming water just with the hose attached? No water in the fresh water tank, black and grey tanks were empty.

I sent the same questions to FR but haven't heard anything back. Appreciate any feedback on it!

may not be the fresh tank drain but may be the fresh tank over flow. if you were hooked up to water and your bypass valve opened could of filled the fresh tank.

This^^^^ Its possible that unbeknownst to you, your fresh water tank is full and overflowing.

Turn off shore water.

Turn on faucet until water stops
Turn off faucet.
Turn on water pump and run water for a minute.
Turn off water

Turn off water pump once it stops.
Turn on shore water again
This should reseat the check valve and keep water from leaking into FW tank.
If this works drain FW tank.

Thank you very much....never considered the FW tank might have inadvertently filled. I will definitely try out the reset procedure this week!

And this is a good reminder to not go away from your R/V and leave the city water on.

You may have to just take a couple bolts out of the underpinning and just follow it to the source. I’ve had to do that for a couple things. Hope this helps.

Dollars to donuts, that's it. If the reset procedure doesn't fix it, you can add a check-valve to the system that will stop allowing water to back flow into the freshwater tank.
