What year is it?
Does anyone know how to tell what year a RV with just the VIN. We are looking to purchase a Cherokee 5er. The owner says it's a 2009 but the DMV says it's a 2007 per their registration.

Cherokee 285B+BS

The 10th digit is the year. In this case its a 7 which is for 2007

Maybe he bought it new in 2009 but that doesn't make it a 2009.
