What's this framework here for?

Was underneath my Vengeance 25V today to replace the sewer hose holding tube and noticed the framework shown in the picture below. It is just ahead of the spare tire. The steel used is no where near as thick as the frame material so I can't see any structural reason for it to be there.

It appears to be a support frame for some sort of box or accessory. There is about 10-12 inches of free space above it and there are four inch round openings on each side at the forward and aft ends.

??????

Possibly. Is/was the second gray tank an option on the Vengeance?

I think this is for the optional fuel station & tank. We ordered ours without the fuel option but the framework is there for it.

Looking at where it's located and how it's built I'm now sure it's for a fuel tank. But, not enough vertical space for a generator.
