Which Gray Wolf 26RL or 28BH, help needed .

The wife and I are looking at the 26RL and 28BH. We like the layout of the 26RL and the bigger shower unit. We also like the 28BH with the outside kitchen. We are thinking it would be better to have the outside kitchen more than the bigger shower. I would like to here from owners of each on pros and cons . We are first time campers and should be pick one by the weekend..

Welcome to the forum. Tough choice. You're comparing a bunk house with a non bunk house. Do you need a bunk house? If not then you're wasting alot of space with the bunks. If you need to sleep 4 then with the 26RL you'll have to use the couch and dinette. I wouldn't let the size of a shower be the determining factor.

Personally, I like the layout of the BH, but it really depends on how many you need to sleep. Also, the top bunk is really only suitable for a child, then it becomes a good storage area.
You also might stand in the shower, and see how comfortable you feel. I like having a little tub, and I think the shower is a good size for us.

Given the two floor plans, I'd say it depends on whether or not you need to sleep more than 2 people if it's just 2, the 26 seems like the way I'd choose. But I'm not you.

From the floor plan I'd say the differences are:

26RL:

- Larger shower
- Larger living space
- 2 access doors
- Can access bathroom while in transit without putting out slide
- More privacy between bedroom and living space

28BH:

- Extra sleeping arrangements
- Outside kitchen.

The concept of an outside kitchen is nice, but I know we'd never use one. If anything, the only thing I would want out of an outside kitchen is the second fridge.

We have the 26Rl and the reasons we went with it was:
1. rear living room
2. TV across from the chairs, No neck crick
3. access to kitchen, bath with the slide in
4. large shower, sons are ALL over 6' tall
5. large window in rear, no need for lights until dark.
6. 2 entry doors (one at each end) safety
7. private bedroom
8. felt like home

9. couch can be used as a bed with the slide in
10. can sleep 6 even tho 3 grandchildren slept on the table/bed and their parents slept on the couch/bed slept 7 that night.
The reason we did not buy the BH was that we didn't think that we would use the bunks enough to justify them.
No matter which one you buy take in to consideration the way that YOU will use it, how many you will sleep most of the time.
But most of all enjoy your choice and camp, camp and camp

Quick decision making!

You will LOVE the outside kitchen! We are on our second trailer, our first didn't have an outdoor kitchen and was a must for our second! Now that we have it, we WILL NOT have another trailer without it!

We spend the majority of our time outside so it is just appropriate!

Congrats and good luck with your purchase!

What will the tow vehicle be? Do you have a hitch picked out yet?
