My wife and I bought our wolf pup last week. I know we have the 6 gal gas/electric dsi water heater. it works awesome on gas, but how do i switch to the electric function? i dont see a switch anywhere but have not checked on the unit itself yet. we are new to this so sorry if this is a dumb question

The switch is outside on the water heater (Open black Panel). Be sure you have water in it, which I'm sure you do at this point.

Suburban hides the electric function switch in the lower left corner of the unit. Just flip the outside water heater door down and look at the lower left corner. The only dumb question is the question not asked!

Dealers fail often to explain the electric function of a Suburban water heater, which is why we keep a very detailed FAQ on it below:

Thank you all. I put my eyes on it earlier so I know where it's at now!
