110V Outlet on Isata 5 Series Dash
FYI...because we have to delete the center console on the Ram for access to and from the coach area, there is a harness that started showing up from Ram. We assumed it had to do with the center console, so we shipped them loose just to be safe.
When I took my trip, I realized that the dash USB was "charge only" and not data. So I tracked down the harness and it plugs in easily under the driver seat (and sloppily lays there). We started working on a center console/cup holder that will be small and give a place to plug that in and we will make that available once it is done.
However, I also just found out (when we had the 110V outlet on the dash not work) that the single outlet behind that plate (that most people don't notice) was not working. It appears that is controlled by that same harness that goes in the center console. So, if you do not have a working 110V outlet in the dash (and this may just be the 2018 chassis I'm not 100% sure)...plug in that harness and you should be good to go.

Brian, on my 2017 chassis the 110 dash outlet is served from a tiny inverter under the passenger seat. It was unplugged when I picked my MH up. I guess the seats must have been removed and re-installed during the build process. Works great now! Thank you for all your follow-up with stuff like this.

Thanks for shipping the harness, I plugged mine in right away. I have not checked the 110v power plug, but will and if not working will dig under the pass seat. Will you make your new console available as a factory part that we can order through a dealer?

Where can I get the harness? I did not receive one with my coach.

I5 DS
I was working on bedroom tv cabling and found a cable harness that has a box with a USB and a 1/8" headphone jack and 4 connectors. I also do not have 110 VAC to the RAM plugin on dash. The cable is new and never installed.
I'm reading through this posting and I think I'm missing a previous discussion on where exactly this cable goes?
Also from that paperwork, my 2019 I5DS has a 2015 chassis- so will the cable work?

Thank you-again
Thanks for the help, I'm really liking my I5DS, I wasn't too happy camper leaving Dealer. It had the common issues, through this forum they are getting fixed! I'm kind of hands on and through your(and forums) help everything is getting fixed.
I'm still learning to live in the Isata- shore power and boon docking and impressed that it all works. I still have questions and not sure how it exactly works; but getting there.
Also, private message for Mr BLT4SPD.
