2015 Force 37BH front shocks

After a 6,000 mile trip to/from California I am hearing a squeaking/grinding noise only on the driver's side in the front suspension when on rough roads or turning onto short uphill/downhill grades (such as going into a parking lot). Coach has 18,000 miles; no damage history and zerks are pumped full before every trip. Visual inspection showed nothing amiss EXCEPT: the left shock absorber is a full inch shorter than the right (I measured it twice...!) from the bottom of the top sheath to the bottom of the shock. RV is level, wheels straight, equally loaded both sides, etc. No fluid leak visible but some scuffing is visible
on the exterior rear of the shock.
1. Has anyone has this issue at this low mileage? Same symptoms?

2. If anyone has replaced shocks on their Force, what kind did you use? I have
used Koni and Bilstein on previous equipment.

95% of all miles are highway miles, light to moderate loads with toad 65-70mph cruise.

Thanks!

Jim

I had added the Billstein from the factory. I had a squeaking issue this year with low mileage. Freightliner tightened everything under warranty. Shocks were loose and some of the other suspension items were loose as well. Everything is fine now. Seems crappy roads has a lot to do with our coaches loosening up and squeaking.
