2019 I 5 30 fw tires

until a couple of days ago, i've depended on others (such as Ram dealer changing oil) until a couple of days ago, noticing a low passenger side out side tire at about 50 psi. further, i then found out i could not find my inside dual valve stem to check my psi. i then checked my passenger side front tire and found it also low at 50 psi. an Alberta, ca Kal tire told me that the only way to check the inside dual tire on 19.5 tires was to remove the outside tire, a wirery tech, with a specially built tool was able to figure out (w/o removing the outside wheel) that one outside dually was down to 80 psi and the other to 85. laying on his side, he was able to get both rears up to 95.
My son, just 2 weeks ago bought a new thor 29m and it came with a valve extender.
Brian, tires are important. can we pls havethe option of paying extra tp have braided ssteel extenders?
form Kenora, Ontario, with 8,000 miles

You may want to consider solid valve extensions over the braided ones. The braided ones just screw into the existing stem and have a history of leaking.

I got my solid valve extensions from YourTireShopSupply.

If this were available from Ram we would get it. I like OEM stuff...the aftermarket stuff seems to have issues, no matter where you get it.

Unhappy 30 fw tires

my inside valve stems don't line up with the holes on the outside of my 19.5 Alcoa wheels, which is the primary problem making it difficult to check pressure and add air.

30 fw tires

generally, i agree with OEM for things like this. when i went into the Kal Tire truck center, i expected to get the outside tires remounted so that the inside valve stems were aligned with the outside wheels holes. but, i was told that wouldn't help? I have a 2013 Ram dually at home (1,500 miles away) and don't recall this issue. i think i'll find a Ram dealer and check it out.
thanks

cross fire system

has anybody here installed the CrossFire tire system? looks interesting, especially if my wheels can't be aligned to allow access to the inner tire.

I think crossfire with a good TPMS is your best bet. Seen too many cases of extenders leaking. Last thing you need is to add another component that’s going to cause more problems

Sseaner has crossfire on his I5 I believe

Braided extensions are junk. They frequently fail causing a blowout. Get solid extensions. Email me and I’ll send photos.

I like that! Thanks for providing the link, I don't think I would have found it otherwise.
