2019 I 5 noisy slide

our slide slows down when extending the last approximate 6 inches. it also becomes noisier and sounds strained, and, sometimes i hear a click or 2. also when closed the bottom is a little more closed than the top. does this seem normal?

I find it very hard to find things through the search function on this site. I searched using "broke slide rail" and couldn't find it. Our slide is doing the same thing. I really would love to read this thread. Can you help me find it? Maybe by who started it, or maybe you can post a link to it or something?
Thanks!

I’ve re read both of these threads and they don’t address your issues. My living room slide sounds just like yours. It struggles at the end of its travel when extending and also makes the clicking noise. My rear slide is very smooth and much quieter and no struggles or clicking. Also the low voltage light blinks toward the end of its travel no matter how much charge is in the battery’s. I’ve replaced both battery’s and also always run the converter and or the engine when sliding. I run the living room slide out in stages now to keep the voltage up. I believe something is binding causing the struggles and clicking.

I would love to hear some advise on this particular problem before I end up with a broken slide rail or burned out motor.

Just a suggestion, the moment it starts to lag, stop it, go out and measure top and bottom of slide. Measure both sides make sure its coming out evenly.

I had responded to this question on post #45.
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...-162580-5.html

I guess I would question the clicking. Is it the energy chain (thing that holds the cables in and out) clicking, or slides flapping in, from out (or vice versa)?
