ABS Fault - fixed

I got the ABS fault in the pic below a while back. It was intermittent, and most advised to drive it to see if it would clear. Sometimes it would, but ultimately it came back for good. The code points to the passenger front sensor...specifically a wiring issue. I had planned to just get it to Freightliner and let them troubleshoot it, but last night after packing up I decided to take a look again. I traced the wires from the engine bay and found them severed. After a little soldering, some shrink wrap, and some wire harness tape, it’s good to go.

The second pic is of the repaired wire tied back to the air line. I think the main problem was that it was never properly secured, and it got into the tire and eventually wore through. The driver’s side is tied back securely like this side now is.

Drove to the lake this afternoon with zero faults. Nothing major here...just trying to post something productive that might help someone down the road.

Cheers...we’re enjoying the hell out of our Dynamax this weekend!

Ours has yellow abs light on dash. Switch will not change it and lites up red with ignition off.

The ABS dash switch on the dash is the auxiliary battery start ( hooks all bats temporally in parallel for emergency start), look back at older posts for more detailed info on switch function. The switch has a yellow lamp on all the time, I cut the wire to the switch to get rid of the lamp.
