Add shelf to large kitchen cabinet over sink

We have a new 2018 Isata 4 25FW and am looking at options to help us utilize the large kitchen cabinet over the sink. Attached is a picture of our kitchen from the dealership photos. Has anyone done anything creative to put in shelving or other techniques to better utilize this big space?

I'm hoping to put in shelving but am worried about mounting into the thin RV wood sides of the cabinet.

Thanks for your help.

When I added a shelf in mine (different camper, but same idea) I just glued and screwed a 3/4" X 3/4" wood strip on each end of the cabinet to support the shelf I think I used 3 screws for each support. The wood is thin, but my wood strips can hold a lot of weight since the force is all directly downward and is more shearing force rather than pull out force.

I added a shelf in our Force. used thin adjustable shelf brackets with thin screws. They have little clips that can be moved easily.

At home, I just use a wire shelf...so if I ever decide to repurposed for taller stuff I have it.

They make a wire shelf for kids lockers...it has legs, so you just slide it into place, double the space. Then it's removable.

I put an additional shelf in our Grey Wolf. I didn't want to use screws because shower is on one side and frig on other side with thin wall between. I glued 1/2x1/2 (?) supports in each corner, then glued same size strips front to back laying on corner supports to hold shelf. Not particularly pretty (I need to stain it dark), but it works.

I used adjustable shelf brackets and cut to fit.

To keep the shelf from sliding, used command strips cut to fit on the 4 shelf hangers.

Command strips, that's a great idea, probably keeps the shelves from vibrating also.

Buy/cut some wood (e.g., 1x8, 1x12) to match the depth of the cabinet. Make an upside-down U of three pieces. Slide it in. Remove/replace door hinges if necessary.

I use a set of these shelves for my over the sink cabinet on one side and a upright divider for dishes and lid covers. You can also get ones that hook together to make another level.

We had a cabinet in our previous minilite, like a broom closet. Used the adjustable shelf brackets to add three shelves. Didn't want to chance puncturing anything behind the wall. Drilled carefully to just get through the wall and used pop rivets to fasten the brackets. Not much for a screw to bite into.

Couple of Ideas

Put this in the top pantry space on our 31DS. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Makes a lot of room for wine and uses the dead space.

Then we had the dead space behind the TV in the living area. This was a large hole and this worked nicely. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Works out great for chips, cereal and many bulky items.

Both these really help utilize the space provided.
