AirSeats in 2017 Force HD
We have worked for a couple of days trying to learn how to rotate the seats so that they can be used while parked. These are the Atwood swivel bases. The manual is clear. Move chair to rear, back upright, pull release, move chair to the center and then rotate.
We have tried this over and over with no luck. I would appreciate comments We're stumped.

At one time, I did a video on this when I was at Sunseeker. Not sure where it has gone.
Pull release and SLIDE the chair at a 45 degree angle to the center. Has to be a pretty good pull, and once it gets solidly into that position you can pivot it. If someone tightened down the bolts too far...it can be too tight to turn.
I Loaded the instructions...but they are not as good as the hang-tag they did (which I do not have a copy) as they were more visual.
When you pull the release level on the side...use that to help pull the seat at a 45 degree angle. (that's the key and takes a good yank). I'll see if I can have my guys shoot another quick video.

I think you can use the Atwood swivel as shown....I don't think we have changed the seats.
You would just order the swivel base for a DX3.
55-500723 PEDESTAL, SLIDING SWIVEL BASE ASSEMBLY FREIGHTLINER DRIVER SIDE
55-500724 PEDESTAL, SLIDING SWIVEL BASE ASSEMBLY FREIGHTLINER PASSENGER SIDE
I know they are not cheap...pretty heavy part and had to be pull tested.

Sorry to be “stupid” - do I order through dynamax or a supplier? - try to find the pet on google and could not find it - happy to contact parts if that’s the recommendation?

You can contact parts...though there is a new corporate policy so it may need to go through a dealer for that part due to it being seatbelt/seat related.
Small issue of being sued by a customer because they installed something wrong and then blamed us for their mistake. Gotta love the USA.

To OP,
We have always had a problem rotating the passenger seat. We get it to work with effort by:
Releasing the seat per Brian's instruction,
then sit on the seat and using your body weight gradually rotate to the rear one inch at a time.
It's supposed to loosen up over time.

Apparently the concept of personal responsibility have left the usa - I completely understand
