Our friends have a Monaco Class A with the same age boys and still prefer the larger living area vs. "losing" space with a BH. While not ideal, a blow up mattress solves a lot of problems during those infrequent times you need more sleeping space......which is my argument when the Mrs. says she still likes the BH!!!

Time to flip a coin!!
Had we custom ordered, we would have specified the regular sofa and the love seat vs the theater seats and fireplace/entertainment system we ended up with. At the beginning of our search, both of those options seemed like a waste of space to us. We ended up finding ours at a dealership, and it was too close to what we were looking for to pass up. Now that we’ve had it for a while I can tell you that we REALLY like those options and haven’t missed the extra seating yet.

As mentioned, there really isn’t a wrong answer here.

lol...I'm sure it does not. Our bunks actually measure 30 on the top 29.5" on the bottom. Unless your boys are rectangular in shape, no one sleeps edge to edge anyway.

Your right Brian, my mistake it's the width that makes the difference, I knew something made them look smaller than the ones I looked at on the other units...

My son has often commented that he wishes our bunk beds were 2" wider.

I think you should have bought a Renegade, that seems to be all you talk about. I did the same when I owned my Thor, I talked about the Dynamax and then bought one.

And my Grandson and my Daughter both commented they wished the 37BH bunks were larger....

While we have the RB, I have the regret of not having more room for people to sleep. Other than the master bedroom, the kitchenette turns into a bed but only has enough room if you're the size of smurf.

Definitely make sure you have other bedding arrangements.

We have the 37TS. There is only the two of us and two dogs. We really like it as it meets our needs. The BH would be a waste for us. Our last RV had a cab-over bed that we used for storage and I miss that feature but not too much as there is so much storage in the 37TS, both inside and outside. We have the fireplace, pop up TV and the theater seats. Love the fire and the TV, the theater seats not so much. We're going to research a replacement for them early next year.

The floor plan that you decide on is such a personal thing. There is no right or wrong answer, just what works for you. I will mention however that if the missus isn't happy, nobody is going to be happy. We're on our third RV and she finally loves living and traveling in the DX3. Life is good!!!!
