I'll try and get some pics as well. That is the pin and sort of keeps it in. If the wind catches the awning, it can sag a bit and that pin can't get up and over the "sort of" female part that is catches on. I was just talking about that hit morning and was going to have the tech write up an adjustment procedure when this happens

Page 31 of the service manual talks about adjusting the pitch. Adjusting that properly will ensure that it stows properly.

Maybe lubricating that pin would help too.

bclemens can you check?

Several weeks ago when I started having problems with the awning, I downloaded a service manual. It is a little different than yours. Can you verify??

On the bottom of the main page across the bottom it mine says:

052522-301r12 February 2017

the one you just referenced says:

052522-301r9 December 2014

thanks in advance

The one I had was from our owners manual flash drive...I'm guessing you have the most recent version if it was just downloaded. I can't imagine the adjustment would have changed...maybe some wiring.

Only reason I had question, page 31 that you ref and my page 31 are different. The procedure for the pitch and the limits are the same, just on different pages.

Thanks

Try rotating the photos 360 degrees before posting.

if you take a picture on your phone it changes orientation (at least on my iPhone). If I crop the picture even the slightest...it does not change it.

Some people complain to me that the photos I send are upside down or sideways. Much depends on what device they are using and their software.

I usually put iPhone photos on my computer before sending to eliminate most of these problems. Once on my computer I change the orientation by rotating the image once in each direction, then save it to send . 99° effective.
