Back up cam

Today I has a nighthawk roadmaster installed on my Isata 3. On my way home I pressed cam and watch the tow vehicle on the display. However after about 2 min the head unit would go into re boot and then the entire xcite unit would re boot. Why is this happening? Are there any updates to the software. Watch the tow car is invaluable but the unit keeps re-booting

There is a known issue with the Nav card in the Xite. I would contact River Park directly on that unit. If its not the nav card, then they are the ones to figure it out.

Thanks Brian

I called River Park. They referred me back to Rand McNally. To do an update on the NAV card. Everyone should do this. Go to RandMcNally. Com and find dock software load it on computer while NAV SD Card is in SD Card reader and follow prompts not only does this update maps but fixes screen resolution on cameras and faster boot up of software. This will take about 30 mins but well worth it. I hope this post helps everyone.

Is there a version number that is man-readable on the NAV SD card & what is the version number of the latest update?

drjeff44-Thank you for the update on the NAV. We are at Boulder City NV this morning and will do this update before we leave for Flagstaff AZ.
