my fault on the last part of previous post - I had forgot that right after disconnecting the battery, the system still has stored energy for awhile so that was why the inside lights were still on . So now just waiting on new step motor and hoping that has been the problem all along?

I have good news for myself but unfortunately nothing really to report back to help you "steve32409" with your problem.
The dealer replaced my 2 new this year 6v's with another 2 brand new 232 amp/hr 6v batteries (3rd set in 2 years) and they went through my wiring again and said they found nothing different or wrong. BUT:
I was finally was able to get out and dry camp for 3 days. The batteries stayed strong all weekend and I ran the furnace, played movies, lights on and abused my power supply as much as possible. It held each night and recovered to full system the each day so I have my fingers crossed as I hope I am finally rid of this terribly annoying problem.
Anyway I just wanted to check in and let you know what happened in my case and wish you luck.
