bclemens question
I thought I would separate my question from my post "I didn't try this at home" to make it easier to find.
You mentioned during a similar post that you have stencils to help in recreating the wonderful paint job. How would I or the repair facility get access to them?
Did I say how fantastic the paint job is?
(Hoping flattery will get me somewhere!)
Actually, many folks have had positive comments.
Thanks, Gordon

I recall him confirming availability of the stencils in my screw up thread. Although I don’t know who my local guy spoke to, he was able to figure out how to source them from Dynamax.
Wish I could give you more details, but that’s all I’ve got.

The repair facility or dealer will just contact our parts department for parts. Should be nothing you have to do on your end.

Right, there shouldn't be anything I have to do at my end..meaning I've already done enuff!!
Maybe Dynamax could install some proximity warning devices like most cars have. That way I could ignore aural as well as visual cues.
Brian, thanks again for all your help.

Another reason for 360 degree cameras. But we would have to look at the monitor before moving. I guess we all know that stuff happens, its how we deal with it and learn from it that matters

Yes !!!! For sure.
We were parking our small RV in front of a black, mirror like glass building and as we slowly approached the parking curb my wife and I were both looking down not to hit the curb....then bang. Neither one of us noticed a black, awning like structure that was edge on horizontal to us. Stupid structure was longer and overhung the curb. It was exactly the same black color and disappeared into the glass/mirror wall. Thankfully, we only clipped one of the running light lenses. Easy fix but WOW !!! A beep-beep-beep would have alerted both of us.....it wasn't the first time that thing was hit btw...and hit good.

30 years with a major fire department, we were not allowed to back up without one of the guys (usually two) getting out of the truck and spotting.

Same on my department. Stay safe. back at you. Although once when my DW was backing me while getting into the driveway, with a radio in her hand....I saw the tip of her cane come out past the rear end of the 5er......too late.....backed into the eaves trough. I asked why she didn't use the radio...she said she did...didn't use the push to talk button...now in our older age we are able to read each others' mind.....maybe

Ok, so I’ll admit I had to look up SWMBO.
Thanks for the chuckle in this otherwise somber thread.
Does she know you refer to her that way?
