Bed struts 2017 Isata 5

Does anyone know what the struts are for that are attached under the bed platform in the MBR? Should they hold the platform up when opened? If not, what are they for?

Hold the storage door up with mattress. This is how it works on mine.

I guess mine are defective, they don't hold up anything. Another item for the now 17 item warranty list.......... tiresome.

Bed Struts; what bed struts. We do not have them on our 2017 Isata 5. Are they missing or addition later in year? If they work we would like to get them as getting into storage is difficult.

My 2017 Iata 5 DB did not come with bed struts. They would be nice to have.

Mine seems to be all sorted out now and we are so happy.

To clarify, struts on the access panel for under bed storage. When door fully open struts hold it open with mattress on top. Have to lift mattress up

Thanks, your's appears to be smaller than mine. My entire platform opens, not just a center portion. That makes mine larger storage but heavier lid.

2017 Dynamax Isata 5 Db

These are missing on our 17 Isata 5. Were they a late year addition or were they not installed. Would like to get them either way. If a late year addition would like to get part number so I can order and install them.
