Seriously doubt anything that might have been growing in the hoses remains.
I do the same.

I do not have gravity fill. So, I premix bleach and water into my 5 gallon jug and use water pump to siphon it into the fw tank then powerfill with the hose. Works well

This is the best, and maybe only way for me as I don’t have a gravity fill option for my fresh water system.
Best is subjective and it certainly isn't the 'only' way.

Did you read my post #12 and follow the link?
In post #14 (of the link) I show another way and several others have been suggested within this current thread. (ie: pump and a bucket)

Bleach solution into freshwater tank

Hand piston pump with outlet hose into overflow hose and inlet hose into bleach bottle

Been using my 21DK ROO all summer. The DW wants me to sanitize it now before our next trip ( this October), do I need to bypass the water heater? I've sanitized in the past, but always in the spring when the heater has been in the bypass mode.
Thanks for the help
Jim

Yes, put in bypass and don’t put bleach in your hot water system.
