Got up on the roof today for a wash and inspection before heading out for a month. I ended up spending more time up there than I wanted[emoji26]
Noticed sizeable gap on rear cap where it ties into the roof. Further inspection revealed broken screws (12) to be exact. So had to re-drill in between holes add better screws clean the old caulk off and prep for re-caulk. Oh well... part of ownership I guess. I'm sure the installers will be made aware of this AGAIN...
Was the gap that you noticed a separation of the hard rubber bead that you are holding up? Was it a pain to peal up the rest to reveal the screws? And what did you use to reseal that bead to the fiberglass cap? Thanks in advance.

It's been a job boys and girls... a few last thing to go, wont bore you with any more pictures. Just remember, water intrusion is costly. On the road again Sunday..
