Just as a curosity: How can a pressured supply line be contaminated by a non-pressurised vented line ?. I've heard of firetrucks being able to pull water backwards as a reason in homes, but I can't think of any other reason..... Thanks in advanced for the education.

A loss of pressure in the supply can have a siphoning effect on non-checked outlets and draw in fouled water mud, etc. hence boil water after drop or loss in your city or county systems. Code requires all water meters to have a back flow preventer installed.
I am a retired lead maintenance mechanic at a large hospital system in Atlanta. Believe me if those back flow preventers failed annual inspection they can lockout the city water supply for the entire hospital. We had bypasses with bf preventers on every water meter!

I took the screen out of mine and all I see is a 1/4" hole no valve? Or are you saying the black plastic peace is the only valve?

If you look back at my pictures you see the valve. Its under the bathroom sink inside the coach. It has an arrow on it showing direction of flow. The line in is the lower pex as shown. It comes from city hookup where I'm guessing that's where you pulled the screen out?? Not sure I understand what your asking..

I was asking the location of the 1 way valve. Now I know it is in the piece under the sink. My other question was the opening inside of the black tank flush connection looks awfully small. about a 1/4"

The 1/4" I was referring to is just behind where you would connect the hose.
Thanks for your help

Add mine to the list of reversed lines for the flush. I used the solution that myhorse showed. Costs under $10 and literally takes 4 minutes. Thanks to all for posting their fixes and paving the way for the rest of us to make things easier. Sorry AWF1945 for you back troubles. I looked at the check value in the bathroom and don't know how you even got in there for a fix.

At my previous division, it was always the valve installed wrong so I had them check here (no pun intended) and they all looked fine....but this would explain it. Should be testing that anyway so no matter what the cause it gets caught. Did that at the previous division and then found out they were winterizing everything, but that...which caused its own issue. Murphy's law.

I like myhorse fix too. Sometimes its better to step back and think about solutions rather than just jumping in. My fix wasn't really that bad, if you've played the game twister... lol

Somebody always has to be first and dive in and actually diagnose the problem which you did - Thank You. Once the problem is diagnosed, other people that are a step behind can actually focus on other fixes. You went right to the core of the problem, maybe not the easiest work around.
I'm fairly nimble and only considered changing the lines at the valve for .5 seconds....lol
