Years ago, at another division we created a whole new color based on lighting. We had a blue/silver unit and the photographer shot the unit at Sunset. That "golden glow" made the unit look black and gold (those familiar with the black/blue white/gold dress phenomenon know what I mean). So people would order the color on the cover....and then were like "that's not the right color". The blue and silver was very popular...but it wasn't the blue and silver...it was really the black and gold that was popular. So we told our paint shop "match what this look like".
