Build Date

We ordered an Isata 3 on March 17. Four weeks later we were given a build date of June 2. (Eleven weeks). But, they were experiencing some supplier shortages, so the date could move out another week or so. Does anyone know if the build date is the finished product or the beginning of the build? If it's the beginning of the build how much longer to the finished product?
I was told they move the build date on sold custom orders to the front of dealer stock orders. Don't know if that is true. If so, they must be selling a lot of custom orders. Any how, hope the quality is worth the $$ and wait.

Every dealer is different in the date they give. If you give me your last name and dealer, I can give you the date they mean.

Hi Brian,

We are also curious about our ordered Isata 3. We ordered from Motor Homes 2 Go on March 10-last name Huss. Any update would be greatly appreciated.

Your unit is supposed to be completed at the end of this month.

Thank you Brian for your help, and really appreciate your attention to this forum. This attention to details and helpful responses certainly played a major role in our selection of a Dynamax product.

pw11236, right now that one is slated for completion the firsts week in June.

Now to anyone asking about delivery times...please don't schedule a trip the day after your estimated completion date (yes, you'd be surprised how many do). We are often juggling the scheduled base on parts shortages and chassis availability. Unfortunately there about thousands of parts that go into these things and it only takes one to delay it. Or we get it all complete, take it on a test drive and notice a vibration or check engine light and it has to go to the chassis dealer. Sometimes they go according to plan...but many times, especially this time of year, we get parts on backlog from our suppliers.

In addition, once we do complete the unit, it has to be transported (which has its own issues) and then the dealer has to scheduled the delivery. Lots and lots of moving parts to try and estimate within a day, 4 months in advance.

As an example, In April 2016 I scheduled 50 Mercedes Sprinters to land each month in Sept, Oct, Nov. I got 150 at the end of November with no notice. Luckily I could pull for our other divisions...but these are the things that happen.

PW, looks like your coach is in Final Finish at this point. I don't think I can give an exact date, but I can be conservative and say that it should be shipped within the next two weeks... but that is just my educated guess so no promises! Sorry I cant be more specific, PW.
