Busted in Memphis

Windshield busted by bearings coming apart on a truck in front of me I-40 ... his duals on one side nearly came off before he could get off the road. They're paying for my glass... could have been worse I guess.

Did you have to change your drawers?

I know.... not funny, but that would scare the crap right out of me!

On the bright side, one of Freightliner's big pitch during training is how nice and how long they have been running that windshield. Easy to get and install.

We had a rock shoot off a semi and chip our side window by the entry door in Virginia two days ago, not that bad but was also loud. You dont expect to get rock chips on the side.

$ 236.00 total, glass and install. And, they come to my house... most all Freightliner parts are available or fairly easy to find. That's one of the reasons I went with this coach.

Damn that's less than a new one for my Jeep I need. Not too bad at all!
