Does this cockpit light supposed to work? It doesn’t regardless of switch position, with door open or closed.

Yes, mine works like a normal dome light and your lens fits better than mine.

I read somewhere about a guy that had the same problem as you. He discovered that an installer apparently opened it up to install cabling and forgot to reconnect the lamp base. You might want to take a look, it may be a simple fix.

Mine works. Looks like an opportunity to use your test meter.

We’re headed to MacDill AFB for a week or so, that’ll give me time to dig out the ole volt meter and see what’s not happening.

The shades are made by Remis, an option on Navion, BC put them on after much whining on our part. Dynamax did a great job with the installation. They are expensive but really, really nice. You can find them on Amazon.
