Camera issue

Camera 2 has a mind of its own and decides for itself when it wants to function. Anyone know where the closest access would be to the camera connections. Want to swap cam 1&2 to isolate the issue. They are both the rear cameras on mine.

On our 30fw there are two interface units. One is behind the cup holder at the bottom center of the dash area. Panel removes and stuffed behind it at floor level. The other unit is under the dash above the emergency brake. I was missing one of the side view camera video. Problem solved by reseating the plugs on these two units. It is someplace for you to start.
Our I5 was delivered the end of April this year.

I'm thinking I have been chasing a ghost. Bought the jeep a couple weeks ago. When it is connected the camera is solid all the time. I guess it may be due to camera 2 being set to trigger.

Correct, the new quad camera does not have a video switch like the old ones. It is all handling internally at the camera. There is only ONE trigger that we set and that is for back up camera when in reverse.

You can actually diable that trigger, so that the camera displays quad view at all times. That's what I did with my demo. I got so used to it, I hated losing the side cameras in reverse.
