Center Console for Isata 5

Here are a few pictures of the center console that I made for our Isata 5.

It measures 16" wide x 6" tall x 10" deep. I made it out of OSB, paid about $ 60.00 for the LED cup holders, power station with voltmeter and a 3.5" x 5" tray from a tray from a Lexus. The local trim shop charged me $65.00 to upholster it in good quality black automotive vinyl.

Not bad for $ 125.00.

Very nice and well thought out. I think for my Isata 5 I am looking for something already made ( I am not as crafty as you ). I would like 2 cup holders, about 16" high to use as a arm rest, a cooler inside so I cam splash my face with ice water when needed and portable so I can move it.

Hope you have better luck than I did trying to find one to fit our Isata 5's. I looked from a solid month or two and could not find anything that did not impede access to the back while traveling. That's why I ended up making one myself.

Go to Autobarn.com and search for the full size center console. Fits nicely between seats and is high enough for arm rest.

center console for Isata 5

I think my body gave up the ability of going from the front seat to the coach area about 10 yrs ago. Sad to say.

Now just need to find the wiring kit so I can wire it directly to one of the accessories switches instead of the lighter socket.

During football season, we drive 1,000 miles a weekend so we need to get to the back to prepare and serves meals on our way down and back from Charlotte to Gainesville.

A couple of more years in this Isata 5 then upgrading to a DX3 or maybe a Grand Sport if they will be out in 2019/2020.
