If you google that as PID 411....you get more hits. Most seem to deal with the EGR.

EGR sensors are known to be a culprit on some Cummins engines..

I read where you can reset by disconnecting batteries using the switch at the drivers seat. Wait 15 minutes, cycle the key three times waiting 30 seconds between cycles. Then start. Not sure it works, haven't had a ck engine light yet. You could try that. Of course if it reappears a visit to Frieghtliner may be in order. Hopefully it's something simple. Let us know. Thank

You can go to this web site and an expert will answer your question:

https://www.justanswer.com/medium-an...ault-code.html

There may be a charge for this, I found this with a search engine so am not personally familiar with it.

It appears that the 411 code may just be a code that indicates there is a code.

Drive the thing to your local auto parts store. They'll check it with their scanner for free and tell you what the code means.

The autoparts store will not have the correct plus, the M2 has a round commercial plug, not an OBD port like a regular car.

Last fall we were going on a week long camping trip & we didn't get more than 10 miles from the house in our DX3 (9L) & the check engine light came on. Everything else seemed normal so we continued on to Savannah. When we got there I contacted the local Cummins South service center & then took it in. The initial diagnosis was a stopped up EGR valve which seems to be common when the engine is allowed to idle a lot. The typical repair is to disassemble the egr valve, clean it and then it's good again. Later that afternoon we got a call from them saying there was a factory recall on some intercoolers & they ordered the replacement parts for it. It took 2 days to fix it because they had to get 2 shipments of parts. The bill was over $4000 but it was still under the engine warranty so my cost was only $100 - thank goodness. The folks at Cummins South in Savannah were really good & would highly recommend them.
