Clear 45 degree sewer hose adapter Isata 3 24FW

Did not like having to bend way down and reach under rv to connect dump hose. Put my knee on dump station concrete, it is sometimes wet.
This one has a flush connector that I do not use but it was last one in rv store.
Now I can see the connector which makes connecting a lot easier.

I did that too, I also added a valterra waste valve too. Read that sometimes those valves on a wire might not close all the way, and when you take off cover get a nasty supprise

Yeah, black tank valve works great. Grey tank valve has slow leak. Have to get it checked, warranty fix.
Grey tank discharge handle sticks out a little more than black tank discharge valve.
Luckely it is the grey tank.

Another user had black tank leak
And got a nasty surprise, and added the valve. I just copied to avoid future surprises

Not sure why they left the connection so far back... ordered a 9” clear extension on Amazon, with two titanium knees it’s hard to get down there to hook up the sewer hose....

Great ideas. I always get to get down their to hook up and replace the cover. My unit is too new to have leaks yet, but I am sure I will get there.

The 9” extension comes right to the edge. Probably could have ordered the 7” but the 9” works well enough.

I just ordered the 7” extension for $13 on Amazon. I agree with you, 7” should bring it out just enough to reach easily without being visible.

Is the outboard end fastened to the coach or is the screw head on top for something else?

I did not fastened it to the coach as the weight is minimal, the screw head is for the exhaust bracket for the generator. They are close but there is enough clearance between them so there shouldn’t be an issue...

Ah yes, after looking more closely at mine I see what you mean. The drain on mine has considerably more slope to it so the terminus is much lower than yours. I'm afraid that three or possibly five inches will be the most I can go without making it too close to the road. I'm certainly going to do something though. Thanks for the idea.

What about cutting the pipe, gluing in a short piece of pipe with 2 couplers and setting the desired angle before the glue dries?

"My unit is too new to have leaks yet, but I am sure I will get there. "

If it does it will probably leak at the $5.00 valve.

Dupree makes quality valves that Might be retrofitted , although the space is tight.

Is there truly such a thing as "too new to have leaks yet"? My previous Forest River fiver started "seeping" at a year old or less. I added the Valterra valve at the end and have lived happily ever after.

I moved it over to our new fifth wheel this past summer. So far no leaks/seeping on the new one but I know it's never too new to leak.

Added the 7” extension today and it came right to the edge and the original cap cord was long enough to reach the end of the extension without repositioning the cord.
