Crack in tile?
I assume that all the stone tile other than color is the same in Dynamax’s RV’s but has anyone ever seen a crack in one?
I’ve got a hairline crack in one of my tiles which I assume is just from driving over the road and getting wear and tear.
Is it safe to assume it can be replaced?

Yes, there are several threads on here about it as well as the grout info/colors needed (I would send you the links to them but don’t know how).
I have 3 tiles I need to replace. Funny, we kind of...we went to factory for some warranty work last year. A part of it was replacing a tile right in front of the refrigerator due to a crack. No less than 50 miles from the factory on our way back home we were taking a turn for a major interstate interchange and someone forgot to lock the refrigerator and the door swang open and a bottle of spice rum I had in the fridge fell out and cracked the exact tile we just had replaced...but luckily it didn’t break the bottle of rum.

yes, I have replaced several (3) and I just had some replaced while I was at the factory a couple of weeks ago
I bought the tile from them and I bought the grout at Lowe's

Yes, pretty straight forward.
We use Snapstone. As I recall the grout color is "Bark"

Menard's actually carries Snapstone and the grout. Regional home store.

Crap, I got my RV back from the dealer today and noticed that I have like 5 tiles cracked.
Any other suggestions? I wonder how hard it would be to put something down other than tile.

Based on your dealership experience a trip to the factory may be your best bet. Mine is in Greg’s capable hands as we type

The snapstone grout is expensive and I could only find it in gallon size. I end up buying a sample from Snapstone direct, 1 pint, it was like $12.00. I redid a lot of the grout in the rig and still have 1/2 left. Just an FYI

Menards sells it in quarts. It’s special order.
I’m actually using snap stone in my bathroom at home.

I guess this is more of a question for Mr Clemons 😁 but how does one get to go back to the factory to fix tiles?
I wonder if I have options other than tile?
Brian?

I responded to your PM....but one would not need to get back to the factory to fix tiles, unless there was some underlying issue or repeat issue. A dealer should be able to replace 5 tiles pretty easily and look underneath to see if there is anything else that needs addressed. Sometimes the carriage bolts are drawn too tight and create a dip. That just needs to be filled in and normally you're good to go.

Thanks Brian, I've never come across a tile issue and for some reason thought that was above my dealer's capabilities.
I'll have them address it.
Thank you again,
Mark
