Cummins L9 vs Detroit Diesel DD8

I'm pretty good at researching stuff but there just is not a lot of info out there on the ISL or as they now call it the L9. In the course of my research I came across some information on the Freightliner website that references the M2-106 chassis. Says that the DD8 motor is now an option. Numbers are right there with the L9. The Detroit 60 series is world renowned just wondering if Dynamax has given any thought on trying the new DD8 in a couple chassis.

We have not due to the exhaust for that motor. It is inline and not a box type so we lose a storage compartment with that engine.
