Defect free Dynamax? Really?
We just had a new Dynaquest XL 37BH inspected by a NRVIA level 2 inspector. He found nothing wrong! Well, there is a small paint defect on the edge of a door where the masking tape was pulled off incorrectly and left a little paint error but other than that he said he didn't find any problems. Is that even possible? I suspect he might have been bribed by the dealer/salesman but if not, my hat is off to B Clemens and crew!

When I first picked mine up there were zero also. Two paint defects, that even when it went back to Elkhart they didn't fix. Now a third has shown up on a cargo door, seems like clearcoat gone. BUT I wish you well and hope yours stays defect free, that may get you in Guinness.

yeah, my luck is that dynamax did an outstanding job and the RV house is perfect but the freight liner engine will break a rod halfway home

I didn't think that was possible! Anyone else had an error free Dynamax purchase?
I knew that dynamax was a lot better than your average RV but to be error free from the factory makes BClemens a demi-god!

Ours had no issues, things I changed because I wanted them different. Out dealer did a great inspection ahead of time and adjusted things too

To be fair....RVIA normally looks for code violations, not necessarily fit and finish (our PDI people do).
But, for people that say the RV Industry has no accountability, no inspections...that is crap and I hope in some small way this refutes that. We are inspected, as I have said, and we take violations VERY seriously. Contrary to some opinions.

I had an error free experience and now 2 years and 3 months later, nothing has ever gone wrong with the RV or the Sprinter chassis. Hope my luck continues, getting ready to head out on a long trip Aug3.
The secret is a through PDI. I spent two days at the dealer inspecting my RV with their techs.

When you're done with it....you can likely donate that to the RV Hall of Fame museum.

You're a brave man posting that publicly. I'd be reaching, no running, for some wood to knock on.
All I did was mutter "this has been a perfect trip, nothing has gone wrong" to my wife once and came home to a house with a completely frozen plumbing system. Lesson learned there!

Hold on..Not so fast
Well outside of the GPS not working, the tire monitor system not installed, and the cab separating from the chassis, everything else is more or less in place. Just love the Mercedes chassis and their quality control. I think that B Clemens has done a decent job of improving the fit and finish, but man still a long ways to go to catch up Tiffin, Newmar and Mercedes. But the rig is so sweet to drive that you can overlook most things. It is a 2020 Isata 3 24fwm

Had a few things wrong that based on the dealer checkout were not found until we had a couple of trips under our belt. The kitchen sink and plumbing underneath worked well without any leaks when just running the water out of the faucet. Filled the sink up during a big dish washing event and when we let out the water a leak was detected under the frig. We tested it a couple of times and sure enough it was there. Ended up the piping wasn't connected and sealed properly under the frig. A large flow down the drain brought this out. Secondly, the satellite switch connections were never connected to the on/off switch at the entertainment center. Hence no Direct TV running off the satellite. Again, not detected until I hooked up a receiver two weeks later. All fixed under warranty without problems. Still, these things might not be found during the dealer checkout and a novice as myself didn't know better to press the dealer on everything. Experience is now much better to defend such newbie behavior if we purchase or trade in again. Personally, I bought the Dynamax for everything it offered and would do so again without any reservation.

Took delivery in April of 2018 after a 3 hour PDI with the dealer.
1 minor issue with a dealer installed option, fixed on the spot.
MH has never been back for anything and we are only 3.5 miles from the dealer.
That is why we bought a Dynamax.

Us too, only we were about 6 miles from the dealership … and then the dealership got sold and no longer handles Dynamax! The best laid plans of mice and men get screwed up every now and again.
Not to worry. When we bought it in April of 2018, we had a few things that needed to be taken care of and it was done promptly and efficiently. Since then, not a problem which, after 12 years of other RVs, is quite a novelty. After every trip it used to be fix 'n' repair time. Not with this one. We love out DX3. It's a keeper.
