2. Super C. This one can be anything. We're looking at new floor plans, new chassis possibilities, etc. So any feedback is greatly appreciate.

A broad range I know, but its always nice to get a feel for things during the design stages.

Super C (3051) -- full slide with additional slide on passenger side bedroom closets; 50 amp service with reel; recliners vs sofa; stackable, vented w/d; dual a/c; mcd shades; decent looking rims. Beefy diesel -- not mediocre.

The Isata 5 gets close. Not the full wall slide, but with this being a bigger unit we weren't sure we wanted to do a full wall.

50 amp service. Dual air
Ram 5500 aluminum wheels
Cummins diesel

Washer/Dryer we haven't worked in yet due to weight. To build a 36' unit as a Super C you only have 19,000lbs. While that seems like a lot more than a Ford's 14,500lbs. You lose a lot of that just for chassis weight. 2nd floor plan will be coming shortly.

Sounds good. Any possibility of having dual fuel fill locations?

It has dual tanks, so there are dual fuel locations. But the fuel equalization only works with the engine running...so not sure if that is what you are looking for.

Will there be any increased towing capacity or will the increased chassis weight suck up any potential increase in hitch capacity?

10k hitch is standard.

Good to know -- and nice having fuel fill on either side. Now work a w/d in there and we're sold!

X3.

I would love to know the price premium a f550 or 5500 Cummins chassis would cost over my 2015 3170DS.

And how much it can realistically tow. 7500-10000 lbs? Sign me up!

Ram 5500.
GCWR 37,500
GVWR 19,500
18,000 lbs is the rated towing with the HD transmission. We just put a 10k hitch on it. At some point the tongue weight is what will get you.

As for cost, just chassis alone is about $20k more (from E450 to Ram 5500 with the diesel) and of course everything else goes up a percentage as well.

Any photos of the Ram 5550 design? I would be interested in seeing that.

Info on the new Isata 5 is up on the Dynamax website. Looks pretty cool but somewhat pricy ($170k+) from what I could find using a google search.

That gearing comes standard with the "HD Towing Package" to get the extra capacity.

What would the dry weight of the unit be?

UVW is going to be around 18,000. We're looking at some other ways to shave weight...we always like to have 10% available for carrying capacity (which would be 1950 lbs)
