Dimensions under bed DX3

I have a 2018 DX3 37TS on order - just wondering if anyone knows the dimensions of the storage area under the bed in the bedroom. I know it lifts up, but not the entire area is storage. Any help is appreciated

When I was at the factory a few weeks ago I looked at a TS on the line and it looked like they were putting the aquahot unit or something in it and there was no to very little l storage left. May want to check with Brian to see as I may be mistaken.

the aquahot unit is below the bedroom in the exteri or compartment. I believe the Op wanted storage area under bed that flips up inside the bedroom

I may be mistaken but the gentlemen on the line that was working on the TS build said they just recently changed the configuration to move whatever he was installing under the bed and that it was difficult because it was a very tight space and they are still working out the efficiency’s of installing it.

Whatever he was installing was at the foot of the bed on the TV side where the open space normally is, basically filling up all the space under the bed.

What we changed was on the old version, the whole bed base and bed top slid, which put a bunch of stuff in a real tight area at the head of the bed. On the 5 series isata...JUST the bed top slid in which was easier to install and easier to access equipment.

I was walking in the plant and ran by one so I took a couple of pictures.
The opening size is (2.5) iPhone 6's x 7 iPhone 6's. (That should be about 13.75" x 38.5")

There are two opening so you can access the storage when the slide is IN or OUT. When the slide is OUT. That rear compartment just gets you access to the slide motor. It is not for storage.
