Does shower or bathroom sink drain to black tank?

I have a 2018 Isata Series 4 and have a question. Does any water go into the black tank other than the toilet? I understand some units drain bathroom sink or kitchen sink into the black tank. Just curious. Thanks

Not that I’ve heard of. I have a 2018 5th wheel. My toilet only goes to black tank. My shower and bathroom sink goes to grey tank and my kitchen sink goes to galley tank.

I've always known sink and shower water draining into the "grey water" tank. Thus the old rubric of emptying your black, then your grey to somewhat rinse your hose.
Likewise, our galley tank is strictly kitchen sink. But we're not in an Isata.

I don’t have a clue when it comes to Dynamax, specifically, but I do know that some RV bathroom sinks drain into the black tank. I haven’t heard of any kitchens or showers draining into them, though, because the amount of drainage from them would be overwhelming and your black tank would fill much too soon.

many RVs have a sink that drains into the 'black' tank, usually for simplicity sake, due to restrictions running the drain over to the 'gray' tank, or even to 'even out' the usage for each tank. Regardless, a bathroom sink is not where a ton of water is used, so it's amount is not going to dramatically impact the levels of the 'black' tank, though most who RV will quickly point out that their 'gray' tank needs emptying way more often than their 'black', so it actually gives you a little more time for the 'gray'.
No, showers won't go into the 'black' tank, they use too much water.

Your manufacturer should be able to supply you with a fresh water system and drain water system layout.

I can't speak directly to the Isata 4, but on all Isata 5's, the bathroom sink drains into the black tank for sure. The logic, as it was explained to me, was to add some liquid to the black tank to keeps things more "fluid" and attempts to prevent clogging.

The shower and kitchen sink drain to the grey tank.....again, on the Isata 5.

With empty tanks and in a suitable location open the grey dump valve and run water in each fixture. Before I used any tanks in mine I did this, including the black dump.
